On Monday, May 1, 2017 at 7PM, the Museum proudly host its Annual May Day Festival featuring performances by Charlie King, Magpie & George Mann. The New Jersey Industiral Union Council (IUC) "Solidarity Singers" and Harmonic Insurgence Choir, under the direction of Eugene Glickman will perform.
Magpie (www.magpiemusic.com) has brought stirring music to audiences everywhere for over 40 years. Another social activist, Charlie King (www.charlieking.org) is a music storyteller and political satirist. George Mann (www.georgemannmusic.com) was a union organizer whose concerts are part sing-along and part history lesson.
Light refreshments will be served, tours of the Museum will be offered, and shopping in the Museum Store will be available. There is an admission fee of $10. per person.
