PMN HONORS THE LIFE AND MUSIC OF JOHN PRINE
Charlie King and Eve Goldberg have organized an evening of music to commemorate the life and music of the legendary songwriter John Prine, who died April 7, 2020 as a result of Covid-19. He was an American country folk singer-songwriter. He was active as a composer, recording artist, and live performer from the early 1970s until his death and was known for an often humorous style of original music that has elements of protest and social commentary. His songs address the social ills of the last half century and have been covered by many members of PMN.
Charlie and Eve have lined up an outstanding roster of singers for this upcoming PMN song swap. Mark your calendars, it will be live streamed on the PMN Facebook page at 7:30 PM EDT, Friday May 15. (You can reference and listen to a very complete listing of Prine Songs at this link: https://songs-tube.net/artist.php?id=7825)
